How it Works – Issuer

Issuance of VerifiedID Credential Card

The following steps describe issuance of the VerifiedID Credential Card:

  • User visits https://verifiedID.me web site,
  • User logins with their crypto wallet (like Metamask), shown in Flow 1. As part of login, user is asked to sign in, which proves that user has access to the specified Wallet. We do not ask for any approvals to any assets in user Wallet.
  • Our service will create VerifiedID Credential Card on the user phone.
    • VerifiedID Credential Card is created as past of Flow 2
  • “VerifiedID Credential Card” will be present on user phone in the Microsoft Authenticator and can be provided to 3rd parties that trust did:verifiedid.me as issuer of these cards.
  • To showcase, https://verifiedID.me is configured to validate VerifiedID Credential Card, shown in Flow 3. We created a few practical applications that use VerifiedID Credential Card as prove of ownership of the wallet and its content.
